How SHR Works
SHR delivers controlled light energy across the treatment area as part of a course of hair-reduction treatments. Individual results vary and multiple sessions are usually required because hair grows in different cycles.
Consultation & Patch Test
A consultation and patch test are required before treatment. Your therapist will discuss your skin and hair, relevant medication or health information, recent sun exposure and previous hair-removal treatments before advising whether SHR is suitable for you.

Before & After Treatment
Please follow the preparation and aftercare instructions provided by your therapist. These may include guidance around shaving, other methods of hair removal, active skincare, tanning and sun exposure. Treatment may need to be postponed where there is recent sun exposure, skin irritation, certain medication or another contraindication.
Temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity can occur after light-based hair-reduction treatments. Your therapist will explain suitable aftercare and when to seek further advice.
